The new 50 Watt micro ballast and bulb technology puts out an amazing 5000 Lumens compared to 1200 Lumens output of a standard 100 Watt halogen bulb while only drawing 5.4 amps off your electrical system. And yes, you get all this in the same die-cast aluminum housing with borosilicate hardened glass lens and knurled aiming knobs.
